Drama
Middle School Students will strengthen their acting skills and develop methods for improvisation, characterization, monologue/scene study. The class will culminate in a performance showcasing monologue and scene work prepared in class during the first semester. Classes held during the second semester culminate in a drama production in April. Elementary School First semester: Students will explore the performing arts by their introduction to dance, music, and acting. Parents will be invited to the last class to have a sneak peek at the warm-ups and exercises youth participate in on their creative journey. Second semester: Students will learn the basic skills of acting, voice, and movement. The class will culminate in a performance demonstrating mastery in new skills and showcasing a monologue for each student.
