Physical Education Program

The Physical Education Department at St. Vincent Ferrer School is an integral part of the total school program. The objectives of the Physical Education Department are to develop individuals to their highest potential, physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

The after school programs have become an integral part of grades 6 though 8. All transportation for inter-scholastic competition is the responsibility of the partents. Parents of participating student should communicate with the Athletic Director to coordinate transportation responsibilities. Any parents driving students other than their own children must have the appropriate insurance and paperwork submitted to the school office.

Students in middle school (grades 6-8) are eligible to try out for the athletic program. Tryouts are held after school. Dates are announced in advance of the tryout. The athletic program consists of the following sports:

Boys:

Early Fall - Flag Football

Late Fall - Soccer

Winter - Basketball

Early Spring - Co-Ed Lacrosse

Late Spring - Tennis & Bowling

Girls:

Early Fall - Volleyball

Late Fall - Basketball

Winter - Soccer & Softball

Early Spring - Co-Ed Lacrosse

Late Spring - Tennis & Bowling
